Mordheim - Albion, of Mud and Mist

Albion: Of Mud & Mist is a one-day, narrative Mordheim event hosted by Bristol Gaming Collective with 5 games over the course of Sunday 26th of February 2023.

Location: Bristol Adventures' Guild, 159-179 Kingsland Rd, Bristol BS2 0QW

Date and time: Sunday 26th February, 9am to 6pm (approximately).

What to bring:

• Your warband filled out on a roster template

• Models for both your starting warband and to represent new additions and equipment purchased throughout the day.

• Dice, measuring tape, counters etc.

• Access to the core Mordheim rules (either as a book, print outs, or digital PDF).

Event details

The event will comprise of 5 games across 1 day. Each game will have time for campaign progression including income, injuries, exploration trading.

There will be pre-picked narrative missions set across the island of Albion to match a range of terrain and table setups.

There will not be a single winner for the event day, however there will be prizes and achievements across the event.

Warbands &rules

Rules

We will be using rules from the core rulebook as well as Empire in Flames. Other supplements such as Blazing Saddles will not be in use.

Warband selection

As this is a narrative event, feel free to pick from any of the official or unofficial list on Broheim ranked as either a 1 or 2.

Your starting warband

Starting warbands will be standard 500gc warbands (unless there are unique rules for your warband), with wargear, starting experience outlined in your warband list.

In addition, before the first game of the campaign, your warband leader may make 1 free roll on the hero advancement table.

House rules

• Armour costs – at warband creation, light and heavy armour (and versions including Gromril) can be purchased at half price.

• Slings – costs 8gc rather than 2

• Shield and hand weapon – if equipped a model using a shield and close combat weapon (sword, axe and club equivalents) add an addition +1 to their armour save in combat.

• Off hand fighting – if fighting with 2 close combat weapons, one is designated the offhand and is -1 to hit
