Come create beautiful botanical prints with Sharon Sorken using different Mordants, Modifiers and Multiple Blankets.
We will work 2 days using protein fibers, using symplicos, alum and titanium oxalate as mordants. A different dye will be used each day using modifiers to change the colors on our fabric. the next 2 days will then be spent for cellulose fibers using tannins and aluminum acetate for mordants and dyes and modifiers.
This class will be repeated Nov 1-4, 2021
