This annual lecture series honors Archbishop Joseph A. Fiorenza, Archbishop Emeritus of Galveston-Houston, renowned for fostering ecumenical and interreligious dialogue.
About the Topic:
Our speakers will explore the moral formation of young women through a rich lens of theory and practice:
Erika Bachiochi, JD will reflect on the writings of Mary Wollstonecraft and other early female thinkers, offering a vision of liberal education grounded in virtue.
Eileen Reuter, PhD will delve into modern practices, sharing real-life examples from classical schools that prioritize virtue-based education for girls.
The event will conclude with a Q&A session where the audience can engage directly with the speakers. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
