Moorland Well Woman Collective: Finding safety within
A Psychoeducational Workshop for Women Recovering from Domestic Abuse
Have you ever wondered why you react the way you do in certain situations, even when you know you're safe? Do you sometimes blame yourself for feeling overwhelmed, anxious, shut down, or on edge?
Join us for a supportive and empowering workshop designed to help women recovering from domestic abuse better understand their nervous system responses and build practical tools for wellbeing and resilience.
This session will explore how the nervous system responds to experiences of threat and safety. Through guided learning and reflection, participants will gain insight into their unique patterns of response, helping to reduce self-blame and increase self-compassion.
This is a psychoeducational and empowerment-focused workshop, not a therapy session. It offers a safe, informative space to learn about the impact of trauma, recognise signs of dysregulation, and identify practical strategies to support regulation and recovery.
Whether you are at the beginning of your recovery or further along the path, this workshop offers valuable tools and insights to support your wellbeing.
