Moon Mandala Painting Workshop

Mandala painting is one of the tools that help us internalize the qualities of the moon and help embody qualities associated with the moon, such as relaxation, calmness, nurturing and transformation. Mandala painting, together with mantra chanting, is a form of dynamic meditation. 

Alisa was drawn to geometric shapes of mandalas and yantra’s for a long time, she intuitively felt called to painting geometric shapes. After a year of experimentation, while visiting Ananda Ashram she met her teacher, Mavis Gewant, who is teaching in the Harish Johari tradition. Since then Alisa continues to study with her teacher when she can.
