About this Event
Performers include well-known Ottawa storytellers and musicians, Gail Anglin, Susan Sweeney Hermon, Jack Pyl, Anne Hurley, and Canadian grandmother Peggy Edwards talking about the moon with an African grandmother friend. The evening also celebrates of 18 years of Canadian-African grandmother solidarity and the amazing resilience of African grandmothers who are caring for the millions of children and young people affected by the AIDS pandemic. Your ticket includes a night of entertainment, home-made hors d’oeuvres and desserts, and door prizes. All proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers Campaign. Limit of 150 tickets.
