🌙 Moon Cycle Circle - Ages 9–12
A special gathering for girls ages 9–12 who are beginning to notice the changes happening in their bodies or are simply curious and ready to learn.
This circle brings together homeschool girls from across Anchorage for an afternoon of connection, creativity, conversation, and learning about the menstrual cycle and the transition into puberty.
Together, we’ll explore:
🌙 The menstrual cycle and its connection to the moon and seasons
🌿 What’s happening in the body during puberty
🩸 Periods, products, pads, and practical preparation
🧠 The nervous system, emotions, and body changes
💗 How to listen to and care for your changing body
✨ Questions, stories, and the things girls are often curious about but don’t always have a place to ask
Girls will leave with a better understanding of their bodies, practical tools for navigating their first period, and the experience of being in a room with other girls who are going through this same transition.
This is more than a puberty class, it’s a chance for girls to learn together, connect with one another, and feel a little more at home in their changing bodies.
Facilitated by Amy Rupp of Nature Song, drawing from years of teaching girls about menstruation, the nervous system, and the transition into adolescence.

Two sessions, 120 minutes each
Ages: 9–12
Group size: 5–12 participants
Cost: $125 per child
