About this Event

Welcome to the ultimate gathering for local makers! The Mood Fabrics Showroom in Atlanta is opening its doors for a collaborative, high-energy community sewing event. Whether you're a seasoned designer or a hobbyist looking for a structured creative space, this meetup is for you.

What We'll Be Doing

• Socializing & Sewing: Connect, chat, and share tips with a vibrant community of local creatives.
• Progressing Your Projects: Dedicate uninterrupted time to moving your current garment, design, or textile piece closer to the finish line.

What to Bring

• Works in Progress (WIPs): Bring whatever project you are currently working on!
• Sewing Machines (Optional): You are completely welcome to bring your own personal machine if you prefer working on familiar equipment.
• Tools & Supplies: Bring your go-to sewing kit. (Don't worry if you forget something—notions and cutting mats are available for purchase on-site!)

What to Expect

• On-Site Equipment: We have 7 Bernette London 7 sewing machines available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Shopping & Supplies: Need an extra tool or a specific notion to finish your WIP? Essential notions and cutting mats are available for purchase right in the showroom during the event.
• Great Vibes: Work alongside background entertainment featuring live musical performances every other week starting June 18th.
• Amenities: Fuel your creativity with complimentary light refreshments provided throughout the evening.
• Location: Join us on the 2nd floor, Suite N216 at the Mood Fabrics Showroom.
