Join us on Friday, November 29, 2024, for the beloved Monument Square Tree Lighting Presented by Hood® Eggnog! Free, family-friendly festivities await:
1 PM – Princess/Superhero Meet & Greet! Snap photos with Ice Queen Elsa, Princess Moana, Captain America, and Spider-Man.
1:30 PM – Disney's Frozen II Watch Party! Join us outdoors—dress for the weather and bring your own chair.
3:30 PM – Traditional Ceremony Begins! Enjoy a live dance performance by Portland Ballet, hear from guest speaker Mayor Mark Dion, and experience a special musical performance by Julia Gagnon, Season 22 American Idol Top 7 Finalist.
4:30 PM – The Ceremonial Lighting of the Tree! Cheer on a Make-A-Wish Maine child as they "pull the candy cane lever" to illuminate the tree in Monument Square!
