About this Event
Montserrat College of Art will host a joint Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce and Beverly Main Streets After Hours from 5-7 pm on Oct. 1 in Montserrat Gallery, 23 Essex St. Newly appointed President Brian Pellinen will be on hand to discuss Montserrat's role in the community and Gallery Director Lynne Cooney will offer a brief overview of the gallery exhibition, a solo show by Brooklyn and Providence-based artist, Simonette Quamina.
The mission of Beverly Main Streets is to promote and enhance Beverly’s downtown economic vitality, cultural and historic resources, and quality of life.
Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) represents the business community for the City of Beverly, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities on the North Shore.
The GBCC is a membership based, independent, non-profit, business organization representing hundreds of businesses that reflects our community and business industries.
Montserrat College of Art™ is located in the Boston Metro area. Our creative community of student artists thrive in the vibrant downtown of Beverly, only three blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. Founded by working artists, Montserrat’s well-rounded, interdisciplinary approach to art education infuses art making with research and critical thinking in each of the twelve concentrations within our BFA degree program.
