Our second fall meeting is confirmed. On Wednesday, November 5, we will be meeting at Canisius University in Science Hall 063, located on the lower level of Building N. Parking is available in Lot 15. Please enter through the doors facing the parking lot, and someone will be there to direct you to the room. Speaker – Veteran Supply Chain Executive Jim Manno
Jim has spent decades selling the services of Logistics Service Providers to large users including regional and national manufacturers. He has gained unique perspective on their needs and issues. Manno has also been a college level educator serving most recently as a faculty fellow in Niagara University’s College of Business. He has been an active participant and leader in numerous Western NY professional organizations such as the International Trade Gateway Organization, Council of Supply ChainManagement Professionals and Buffalo Niagara Partnership Logistics Council.
Topic - The continuing changes in products and percentages to import tariffs by the Trump administration has made business planning extremely difficult for everyone. US firms do not know if they can even procure needed equipment and raw material in addition to what the total cost will actually be. And the next time they order details will probably have changed again.
