Established by incredible demand, Bad Jimmy's is thrilled to host a standing monthly showcase, featuring some of the most dynamic singers and songwriters of the PNW.

Summer may be winding down, but our outdoor summer sessions continue on through the fall.

Escape the hustle, stay awhile, and breathe in an evening of soul music. We offer extensive covered seating for this outdoor, all ages, and dog friendly affair.

Tickets are also available at the door, via cash or Venmo.

Gabe Doran
With heavy influence from artists such as Tom Waits, Townes Van Zandt and Gillian Welch, Gabe Doran has a special place in his heart for the underdogs. His unique and sometimes gritty acoustic stylings blend the rustic tones of American folk music with a cheeky cynicism that could only be born out of Seattle. With narratives that range from American history to local bank robberies Gabe Doran is a musical storyteller and in these times? Well, there sure is a lot of material. Down the western coast with his Guitar and his bindle of Harmonicas he has performed his original Americana tunes that can strike a chord in the hearts of outcasts, insiders and everyone in between.

Doug Rusk is a singer-songwriter-guitarist-solo performer who lives in Woodinville. He's written hundreds of songs and plays tons of cool covers. Wherever he plays, Doug gets a great reception. During the coronavirus shutdown Doug performed a weekly Facebook Live “Happy Hour Show” 60-90 minutes, where he was getting 200+ views from a local audience. In May, Doug put out 2 original songs on YouTube within a week that both got 650+ views within several days of release.

Doug has a bit of an unusual musical background as a “singer-songwriter-guitarist-solo performer” in that he was a highly successful swim coach from 1990 through 2021 and didn’t perform any music in public until 2013. At that time, as Doug continued coaching full-time (as a head coach) he started adding 1-2 nights a week of playing open mics and other music gigs. Doug has since built up a strong following the past few years. Everywhere he gets complimented on his songs, his voice, and his overall playing. In August of 2021 Doug decided to “retire” from coaching and focus full time on writing and performing his music.
