Monthly Sapphic Walk | Something Sapphic
About this Event
Bellevue Downtown Park • Saturday, August 22 • 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Come as you are. Leave with community.
Welcome to the first Something Sapphic Monthly Walk! A recurring community gathering created for BIPOC sapphics to slow down, get outside, move our bodies, && build genuine connections.
Whether you're new to the area, looking for queer community, hoping to make new friends, or simply want a reason to move your body, this space is for you.
No pressure. Just fresh air, conversation, and community!
🌞 What to Expect
We'll meet at Bellevue Downtown Park at 11:00 am before taking an easy, mostly flat walk through one of the Eastside's most beautiful parks.
We are also hosting an optional group lunch/happy hour afterwards at Cactus Bellevue | 1:00 pm
We'll walk, talk, laugh, and enjoy being present with one another.
👟 What to Bring
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Water
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Positive energy
🌿 Community Values
Something Sapphic exists to create intentional spaces where people can connect authentically.
We ask everyone who joins us to help cultivate an environment that is:
• Respectful
• Inclusive
• Welcoming
• Judgment-free
• Community-centered
Our monthly walks are designed to be accessible for all fitness levels. Whether you're already walking 10,000 steps a day or just beginning your movement journey, you're welcome here. 👟
We're also building an ongoing accountability community that encourages each other to stay active and support our wellness goals between monthly meetups. Goals are more fun with community 🖤
