Steven Landseadel is a seasoned and certified wild mushroom expert located on Florida's Gulf Coast. Growing up in the swamps and cow fields of the 1970s, he was fascinated with wildlife and the backdrop of the forest. Fast forward 40 years, witnessing the drastic destruction of old Florida habitat, he no longer sees the forest as only the backdrop. The forests are the heart and lungs of this planet, the swamps and marshes are the liver. Every organism, down to one celled slime molds, they are all connected.
Everyone is welcome at all Pinellas Chapter monthly meetings - membership not required! Come and bring a friend. Enjoy the fellowship of other native plant lovers, both newbies and experts, information about local environmental topics and upcoming events, an informative program, and more. We encourage everyone to pot up your "extra" volunteer plants and bring them to share/swap with other plant lovers. Please join us!
