“It’s hard to teach hungry kids.” With that sentence, our Mobile Food Pantry was born. On the first weekend of the month, every month, a team from SPW shops, sorts, packs and delivers sustenance for 40+ food insecure families whose kids attend our nearby public school. Meal bags include green beans, potatoes, rice, cereal, many other non-perishables along with eggs, milk and frozen ground beef. Our recent partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank has greatly expanded our ability to serve our neighbors.
