We invite you to join us for this month’s Chamber Meeting featuring Stan Parker, President of Winston Starts, and Leah Wyrick, founder of Three Strands Recovery Wear.
Winston Starts is a unique startup incubator that exists to drive the future economic health of Winston-Salem, the Triad, and North Carolina through job creation, intellectual capital stimulation, and entrepreneurial support. With a structured, cohort-based curriculum, professional coaching, mentoring, scholarships, and state-of-the-art facilities, Winston Starts is transforming ideas into scalable, sustainable businesses.
Stan will share how Winston Starts equips startups through a flexible, hybrid program focused on capital readiness and business strategy. Their curriculum covers everything from marketing and operations to legal, leadership, and pitch development—helping entrepreneurs become coachable, scalable, and nationally competitive.
You’ll also hear from Leah Wyrick, A Winston Starts business, a Wake Forest graduate student and recipient of Winston Starts' support. After witnessing her mother’s post-surgical struggles, Leah founded Three Strands Recovery Wear, a company that designs post-mastectomy bras that promote healing and comfort. Her story of innovation and purpose has been featured by ABC11 and continues to inspire others across the state and beyond.
