Linda Hughes, Technology & Innovation Manger for the National Institute of Minority Economic Development is an accomplished award-winning Air Force veteran, college professor, and information technology specialist.
She started at the organization as a volunteer at the Women’s Business Center of Charlotte program, transitioning from part-time in July 2018 to full time as the Program Director in October 2021. In this position she provides overall programmatic support in the execution and delivery of programs, marketing, and technical operations for the Women’s Business Center of Charlotte.
Linda has a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Information Systems. She is a native of Alabama but moved to the Charlotte area in 2017 from Virginia. She enjoys spending time with her 19-year-old autistic son.
