Join us for this month’s MacArthur Boulevard Association (MBA) Meeting!We will learn more about the LINC - the proposed greenway project that is planned for the 3rd Street Rail Corridor after the train tracks merge onto the 10th Street Rail Corridor. This greenway would also connect to the current trail system near the intersection of MacArthur Blvd. and Wabash Ave.
Imagine a vibrant linear park weaving its way through the heart of Springfield — a lush, active corridor of life, movement, and connection. This is The Linc: a shared-use bike and pedestrian path reimagining the 3rd Street rail corridor. It’s more than just a trail — it’s a green spine connecting downtown Springfield to surrounding neighborhoods, the Illinois State Fairgrounds, and a wider network of regional trails.
We’ll also share a few additional community updates—and yes, there will be ☕FREE coffee to enjoy while you connect with neighbors and local leaders.
