Monthly King of the Hill (Sep ’25)
Two Divisions Available to Enter
1. Only Scratch KoH $60 entry fee.
$15 linage, $10 scratch KoH pot, $31 prize fund
2. Only HDCP KoH $60 entry fee.
$15 linage, $10 HDCP KoH pot, $31 prize fund
3. Both Scratch and HDCP KoH $100 entry fee.
Scratch $7.50 linage, $10 KoH pot, $30.50 prize fund
HDCP $7.50 linage, $10 KoH pot, $30.50 prize fund
There will no longer be a pre-pay discount, as there is a $20 discount for entering both divisions. However, paying ahead of time will still be accepted using GraphicD12382 on CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal. Make sure to only put “Thank You KoH” in notes and choose friends and family so fees are not charged.

Any bowler may enter the scratch side pots even if not entered in the scratch division. However, to enter HDCP side pots bowler must be enter into the HDCP division.

Format
4 Game Sweeper Scratch***/ HDCP (depending on division entered) moving one pair to the right after each game.
Eliminator
The top four bowlers in each division will advance to the eliminator finals. The bowler with the lowest score will be eliminated in each round of the eliminator. In the scratch division, that is the lowest scratch score. In the HDCP division the lowest score with HDCP is eliminated.
Tournament Play Run Down
1. 4 Game Sweeper
2. Top four from sweeper (maybe less based on paying positions) enter eliminator.
3. Eliminator Round 1 - Four bowlers bowl. Bowler with lowest score eliminated.
4. Eliminator Round 2 - Three bowlers bowl. Bowler with lowest score eliminated.
5. Eliminator Round 3 - Two bowlers bowl. Bowler with lowest score eliminated.
6. KoH Round - The winner of the current month faces off against the Reigning King* for the crown. (There could be two Kings each month as there are two divisions)
Scratch
Bonus pins will continue to accrue if the bowler doesn’t cash in the scratch division. As a reminder, this is capped at 40 pins and is only added to the set, not each game.

HDCP
A tournament average will be established upon the completion of two tournaments. As a reward to those who have supported KoH bowlers, at least two tournaments will have an established tournament average. The HDCP shall be 85% of 210 based on the last 8 tournaments bowled in. The max score plus HDCP shall be 300.

*Reigning King
The reigning king MUST ENTER the division they are defending in order to be eligible to defend their crown and earn KoH pot prize money. Each division will have their own KoH pot. KoH pot payout is based on entries**. The standard payout will be a repeat King receives 75% of the KoH pot with a new King receiving 25% of the KoH pot.
Pay Ratio
The pay ratio shall be no higher than 1:6 but could be dropped to 1:5 or 1:4 as needed by the tournament director. If there are less than 16 bowler in a division only those occupying paid positions will proceed to the eliminator finals. All prize money from the night of the tournament will be paid out to the bowlers in cashing places base on pay ratio. Example: 30 entries paying at 1:6 ratio would be 5 paid places (Only the top four move on to eliminator).
**KoH Payout Rule
Payment of the KoH pot is contingent upon a minimum of 16 participating bowlers in the respective division. In the absence of meeting this threshold, the funds earmarked for the KoH pot will be redirected to augment the prize fund for the respective month. If less than 16 in a month the winning bowler will still compete for the crown with the reigning king still receiving 75% of the KoH pot. However, if the bowler defeats the reigning king they will not receive 25% of the KoH pot and the next month they will only be eligible to receive half of the 75% of the KoH pot. Example 75% of KoH pot if at $600 the reigning king from a less than 16 month will receive $300.
*** Scratch Division Only. 2 Pins awarded each month a bowler doesn’t cash in the tournament with a max of 40 pins added to the set. Bonus pins are not used in brackets, high games, super pot, or eliminator finals. Bonus pins reset after a bowler cashes in the tournament. In instances where the bowler count is below 16, bonus points will not be awarded to cashers. However, the bonus point system will not undergo a reset if fewer than 16 bowers participate in a given month.
