Join us at the Hutchinson Art Center for our Monthly Children’s Art Projects, led by artist and educator Beckie Vega!These make-n-take art classes are an opportunity for children aged 6 through 12 to create their own work of art! There will be classes on April 11th, 2026. Students will be divided into two groups: Group A (1:00 to 2:30 PM) and Group B (3:00 to 4:30 PM), with each group covering different skills. Each group art class costs $8 per child.
The theme for April’s theme is Fairytale House!
Students will create a woodland fairytale scene based on the illustrations of artist Kay Nielsen and utilize skills in drawing, value and color, contrast, shape, and space.
