A calm, nature-inspired watercolour workshop for children who enjoy observing, drawing and transforming simple shapes into imaginative creatures.
In this Montessori-informed session, children will be invited to look closely at natural forms, patterns and textures, then use watercolour pencils to explore lines, shapes and colour. Through gentle prompts and carefully prepared materials, children can begin creating their own watercolour critter inspired by leaves, bark, branches, shells, insects or imagined creatures.
Children can work at their own level — from simple shape tracing and colour exploration through to more detailed drawing, pattern-making and imaginative storytelling.
This is Session 1 of the Montessori Watercolour Critters workshop experience. Families may book this session on its own, or pair it with Session 2 at 11:00am for a longer creative morning.
