About the Workshop: Sewing in the Classroom
Step into the world of purposeful work and joyful learning! Join Caroline Bourn Talberg for an immersive, hands-on workshop designed to nurture your child’s independence and fine motor skills through the art of sewing—a beloved Practical Life activity in Montessori environments.
? Children will explore:
- The magic of knot tying
- Threading a needle with confidence
- Crafting their own soft “stuffies”
- Mending and repairing with care and pride
This hands on workshop is more than just stitches—it's about empowering children to create, problem-solve, and take ownership of their environment. Whether your child is new to sewing or already loves working with their hands, this experience will spark creativity and build lifelong skills.
? Come discover how sewing can be a gateway to concentration, coordination, and self-expression—the Montessori way.
