Montessori Parent Talk: Practical Life – The Foundation for Learning

Our Montessori Parent Talks are educational presentations and discussions with our Head of School, Michel Capobianco and our teachers, covering various topics related to Montessori education and child development. The talks are open to both current parents and those interested in learning more about our school.

This talk will cover an understanding of the exercises of practical life and the essential role it plays in developing concentration, coordinated movement, strategical thinking and independence, and how these skills support the child’s success.

About the Maria Montessori School - Hornsey Rise

Part of the Maria Montessori School, our Hornsey Rise, Crouch End Nursery (N19) (Montessori Children’s House) for children aged 2½ – 6 years, offers a beautiful setting and a vibrant community with room for up to 24 children.

The children enjoy a large indoor space with high ceilings and stained-glass windows and can explore the lovely large garden.
