The Xcelerators burst onto the local scene in the early fall of 2024, but they are no strangers to the stage. These are veteran blues artists with the chops to back up their pedigree. That’s why we have invited them to headline our 14th anniversary show this year. Get your tickets early as this is likely to be a sell out! The dance floor will be full, and we’ll even have cake. Jimmy Crimmins- one of the most exceptional blues/ jazz guitarists on the scene today. Jimmy was born in Madison WI. His mind blowing style has landed him gigs with the Blues Brothers, Albert King Band, Pinetop Perkins and more.
Tom DeGasperis – has been a jazz bassist playing all over the right coast since the early 70’s as well as backing groups such as the Drifters, The Coasters, and the Shangri La’s
Tom Albenese – is an accomplished harmonica player from Chicago, most notably having performed with Johnny Little John, The Bono Brothers Band, and Willie Hayes
Les Merrihew- a veteran of the Seattle Blues Scene, has played drums with Charlie Musselwhite, Albert Collins, Pinetop Perkins and Little Milton
Larry Lieberum- keyboardist who honed his craft in the vibrancy of Chicago. His performance schedule has taken him to Europe and all across America.
