Announcing Monsters Ball XIV: EmpowerMonsters Ball is Halo's signature special-FX hair and makeup runway benefit show. Since its inception, it has served as a vessel for our highly-trained and well-experienced creative staff to turn human model canvases into works of visual art. In turn, the event not only showcases Team Halo's work on the runway but also uses ticket sales, donations, and a silent auction to raise money for a nonprofit closely linked to each year's theme and the community, raising over $22,000 for area nonprofits.
This year, Halo is celebrating our 14th annual Monsters Ball by giving back to an organization that serves our most in-need community members, Cancer Support Services, and our stage models will showcase empowered and empowering people and characters. From pop icons who have helped create positive change to revolutionaries who helped shape the lives we live today, it is only fitting that the theme mimic exactly what Cancer Support services achieves. We all can help empower our community!
Monsters Ball will take place Friday, October 11th, at Le Chat Noir in downtown Augusta. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Doors open at 7pm, and the show begins at 8pm. Live music will follow. Get your tickets now, and stay tuned for more information about our auction!
