About this Event
We all grow up wondering about the monster under the bed, the shadow in the
window, or the skeletons in the closet. Are they friends or foes? Are they always there, or is
there some transdimensional portal to their home nearby? Do they have families? Do they sing,
dance, and cry like us? Are they here to hurt us? And maybe, most importantly: Am I the
monster? This March, Wes & Carrie embark on a journey with a shared quartet to explore these
questions through song, story, and connection. Featuring their dual trumpet talents, they deliver
a soundscape that blends Folk, 1960s Soul, Jazz, and Americana, offering a rich and evocative
musical journey.
This March, they invite you to come dressed in your most monstrous attire—furs, horns, ears, or
whatever inspires your inner creature—and join them for an unforgettable exploration of what it
means to live among monsters, to meet your own, and to find the humanity within. Whether you
leave feeling braver, lighter, or simply more curious, this tour promises to resonate long after the
final note fades.
