Guests are welcome to interact at the level they feel comfortable by mingling and/or questioning suspects, or by simply observing the suspects throughout the evening. All witnesses have the opportunity to accuse a suspect in order to solve the crime but are not required to actively portray a specific role. Scene-appropriate attire (specific or generic monster, ghoul, or other evil baddie) is also encouraged but not required.
Child Attendees
Up to 25 children (ages 10-14) can purchase a ticket alongside their family members attending the event. Children can optionally dress in costumes that theme with their family members. Children attendees will also be served dinner and engage in age-appropriate themed activities as a group while their parents are engaged in the mystery activities. There will be cross-over times where both groups will interact, and group-costume pictures will be taken. Children’s activities will be supervised by responsible, vetted, and mature adult staff. Attendees aged 15+ should purchase adult tickets (Suspects or Witnesses).
STORY SYNOPSIS
Madsy Entist, the world-famous inventor, has invited all the monsters she knows to a party at her haunted mansion. And what a group she has invited! Count Dracula, the Wicked Witch of the West, the Phantom of the Opera—they’ll all be there, plus many more shambling, oozing, grunting outcasts.
At the party, Madsy intends to unveil her latest invention, “NORMALLO,” a potion that can turn any monster into a normal human being with just a swallow.
But what’s this? Someone has stolen the only bottle! Who among all the creeps and ghouls at the mansion tonight could have done it?
And speaking of monsters, maybe it was – YOU!
