About the Place
KODACHADRI is a famous mountain peak with dense forests situated at an elevation - 1,343 metres (4406 feet) above the sea level in Western Ghats of South India. Kodachadri means “Jasmine of hills” located in Shivamogga Dist., Karnataka State. It is also famous for its numerous waterfalls, lush green mountain peaks, and the right journey makes it most ideal weekend gateway from Bangalore that one can venture into. The peak is barren due to strong winds and the thick forest cover makes the peak invisible from lower ground level. Various other peaks and hills exist around this mountain. The important animal life it holds includes Malabar Langur, Malabar Pied Hornbill and Malabar Grey Hornbill, Bison’s, and Wild Boar.
The trek start’s via Hidlumane waterfalls route. The initial trail would be covered at an easy pace crossing several streams. Later the trail becomes steep with rocky terrain and then it will lead to top tier of beautiful Hidlumane Falls. The Hidlumane Falls consists of seven levels. Further the trek route passes through dense forests and reaches to Kodachadri Peak. We will enjoy at the top of the hill for some time. After having packed lunch, we will return to base and will camp at Homestay for the night. Next morning after visiting Nagar Fort will drive back to Bangalore.

Day 0
Friday Night 9:30 PM :- Pick Up From Bangalore

Day 1
· SAT 06:00 AM – Reach to SIHMA FARM Nature Retreat freshen up and have breakfast.
· SAT 09:00 AM – Start trek from Kattinahole in dense forest Via Hidlumane Falls
· SAT 10:30 AM -- Reach to Hidlumane Falls & get drenched in waterfall.
· SAT 11:30 AM – Start climb to the peak.
· SAT 01:00 PM -- Have lunch in the middle of tiring trek
· SAT 02:30 PM -- Reach to Adi Shankara Peetah have some memorable movement
· SAT 04:00 PM -- Trek back to base Camp
· SAT 06:30 PM -- Reach Homestay and relax, if weather permits enjoy Campfire(Optional), have dinner and retire for the day.

· SUN 06:00 AM -- Wake up and Freshen up
· SUN 08:00 AM – Have breakfast,
· SUN 09:00 AM – Start journey towards Nagara fort and we will stop at a hidden gem
· SUN 10:30 AM – Stroll around Nagara fort and take some pics
· SUN 11:30 PM – Start journey back to Bangalore
· SUN 01:00 PM -- Lunch at Shivamogga (Self Sponsored)
· SUN 08:00 PM -- Reach Bangalore and say good bye to team
