Secret Society is proud to present headliner Monroe Martin. Each week, we host the nation's best touring, regional, and local comedians providing a unique comedy club experience in different spaces with different vibes. You never get the same show twice!

Waterloo Arts is the perfect venue to attend a "secret" comedy show where you can celebrate life's wins, have a unique date night, or just break up the typical weekend routine with laughs while surrounded by local art.

Born in Philadelphia, Monroe Martin is a colorful and imaginative comedian with a lifetime of challenging experiences to pull from. His honest and open approach has turned his shitty childhood into hilarious jokes and stories. Monroe made his TV debut in 2014 on the 8th season of NBC's Last Comic Standing, where he made it to the top 10. From there, he went on to make many more TV appearances, such as season 2 of Adam Devine's on Comedy Central, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, the 5th season of MTV2's Guy Code and Girl Code, MTV2's Joking Off, TRU Tv's Comedy KO, and Big Jay Oakerson's WYFD on Seeso.com. He has also had cameos in Aziz Ansari's Master of None on Netflix, The Jim Gaffigan Show on TV Land, The Last OG, That Damn Michael Che Show, Inside Amy Schumer on Paramount Plus, and many more.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

Waterloo Arts DOES have a liquor license, so you may puchase alcoholic beverages at the show. In fact, we'd recommend taking 2 drinks into the showroom so that you don't have to miss anything to get another round.

They do not have a kitchen, but we DO recommend heading over to Six Shooter Coffee for a coffee (before 7) and Doinks' Burger Joint (who is offering a deal if you show your show ticket) to grab a bite to eat before the show. You MAY bring food into the venue, but PLEASE clean up after yourself.
