Friday, July 31, Chasing Sun(Sets) opens its 2026 series after dark at Kashmir for their first Annual Pop-up - built around one city and one community.

Houston-born, Miami-based Eric Alberto-Lopez - known worldwide as APE DRUMS - has spent a decade turning Caribbean rhythm into global dance music. His breakout single "Bashment" helped set the course for modern dancehall-electronic fusion, and "Mutant Brain" - hand-picked by Spike Jonze for his worldwide Kenzo campaign - carried the sound from festival stages into popular culture.

Since 2019, Ape has stood as one-third of MAJOR LAZER alongside Diplo and Walshy Fire, contributing to the group's Grammy-nominated era and records featuring J Balvin, Anitta and Nicki Minaj - while his solo work has pushed deeper into raw, percussive Afro tech, including "GQTECH" with South African gqom pioneer DJ Lag.

Big-room energy, sound-system roots, and the drums the name promises - inside Kashmir, for one night only.
