Hello all..! Glad to announce that we are coming up with Mono-Printing workshop in collaboration with Artist Dilip Panchal @studio_blacksmith at @studiovikarna This workshop is open for age groups 4-12.
Dilip Panchal is an Architect and Visual Artist based in Ahmedabad. He is been teaching at CEPT University since 2013. He has been extensively exploring multiple mediums in art sculpture and mural making. Mono-Printing is one such medium that he has been exploring for the last 15 years.
Mono-printing is a transfer based painting technique. Unlike other printing techniques here the transfer happens only once hence the name. It is a pure exploration of technique – the paint strokes roller pressure paper texture dryness of paper printing with respect to weather conditions etc. Once the method is ingrained one can explore compositions and more complex techniques.
