Rooted in the musical traditions of Latin America but looking firmly towards the present, Mono Candela brings together earthy percussion, psychedelic textures and infectious rhythms in a live set made for movement.
At the heart of their sound is cumbia—one of Latin America's most adaptable musical languages. Born in Colombia and transformed across the continent, cumbia has travelled, evolved and collided with everything from psychedelia and dub to electronic music and experimental sounds.
Mono Candela takes that spirit of movement and transformation into a live setting: raw percussion, hypnotic grooves and psychedelic textures meeting in an intimate Liberty night
