✨ Workshop Description

Money may not grow on trees, but understanding how to use it wisely is a skill every child can grow! 🌱

In this interactive and hands-on money management workshop for kids, children are introduced to the basics of earning, saving, spending, and sharing through engaging games, storytelling, and creative activities.

Using relatable examples and playful exercises, kids will explore how people earn money, how choices impact budgets, and what it really means to spend thoughtfully. The highlight? A fun “Birthday Party Budget Challenge” where they’ll plan, prioritize, and make spending decisions with limited resources — just like in real life! 🎉

Through teamwork and guided reflection, children learn to differentiate between needs and wants, think critically before spending, and appreciate the value of money — lessons that build lifelong financial awareness and responsibility.

Session Plan

Ice-Breaker Game: How Money Is Used (15 minutes)

A fun, discussion-led game where children explore how money is earned and spent through simple, real-life scenarios, introducing choices and priorities.

Interactive Activities & Budgeting Games (80 minutes)

Through stories, movement games, and hands-on challenges, kids learn about earning, saving, spending, and sharing. The highlight is the “Birthday Party Budget Challenge”, where they plan within a fixed budget, followed by a take-home creative art activity.

Snack Break (10 minutes)

A short, relaxed break for children to refuel, socialize, and unwind — encouraging mindful eating and sharing.

Wrap-Up: Reflection & Gratitude Circle (15 minutes)

The session ends with guided reflection and a gratitude circle, helping children appreciate thoughtful choices, teamwork, and the value of money in everyday life.

1. Parents are requested to drop off their child and pick them up after the session ends.

2. Limited waiting outside our studio classroom; no waiting inside Learning Loft reception or classrooms.

3. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to help your child settle in comfortably before the session begins.

4. Kindly send your child with a water bottle to stay refreshed.

5. Snacks will be provided during the session. Please inform us in advance if your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
