This month we're featuring experimental documentary "The Year" (2024, 10mins) by Milwaukee filmmaker, musician and educator Grace Mitchell, as well as a program of avant-garde short films curated in part by the artist.
Grace Mitchell's work has screened both nationally & abroad. They are currently an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mitchell co-founded Underscore, an artist-run project space. They host the experimental radio show “Entry” on 104.1 WXRW Riverwest Radio. Grace is an aspiring shepherd.
