Every Monday there is a comedy open mic at Bremen Cafe that starts at 7:30pm which is immediately followed by the music open mic hosted by Tlalók! We will start right after comedy every week and go until our strict 1am cut off. You can also anticipate rotating hosts featuring Ousmon Dubwise of TheKushTrio & Andy Goitia of Sleepy Gaucho.Sign up is now first come first serve so be there at 10pm to sign up if your in a rush. Beware there are only 12 spots available!! ALSO The open mic night at Bremen has traditionally been acoustic but every 3/4 weeks of the month you can expect drums and bass provided by the musical stylings of the Cream City Players. ~ Come take part in one of the most apotheosized Riverwest traditions, the open mic! Bremen opened in 2002 as a small coffee shop and over time evolved into a restaurant, bar, music venue, and game lounge. Some drunk history and a pandemic later they are still standing strong. Come support the local scene and play some pinball, eat a pickled egg, throw up your sticker, and meet some of the great people of Riverwest.
~ The stage is open to poets, musicians, and any other talents you might want to perform for the greater good. Rappers are welcomed!!! THERE IS NO AUX INPUT so bring your own AUX to 1/4in. adapter and come with the FIRE. Also please feel free to freestyle with the live band if you are feeling the right vibe! The Cream City Players specialize in Neo-Soul, R&B, and Reggae.
Vaccines and Face Masks are welcomed but not required. However the venue is strictly 21+ and there will be ID checks at the door!
