Join the Juniata River Paddlers as we start our paddling season and enjoy the beauty of Standing Stone Creek. We meet at the takeout at 5pm, in this case, Detwiler Field. We will then carpool with boats to the put-in at the end of DeForrest Road. This route from DeForrest Road is a little over 5 miles, so please be prompt as daylight will be fleeting. Depending on water flow, we may change the put-in to Black's Bridge for a shorter trip.
Then if we all stay dry, we'll head to Muddy Run Tavern for a post-paddle treat. It's that simple, and way more fun! Come out and join us!
