Comeback Comedy and KB Comedy present the best of the Dutch comedy scene and beyond. No two shows are alike. We bring in a slew of traveling comics from the US and UK comedy circuit! We've featured Netflix's April Macie, Comedy Central's Tom Rhodes, BBC's Ria Lina, and Live at the Apollo's Desiree Burch.

Meet your host
MC Kendra Borgen (US/NL) was born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, Kendra started playing saxophone at age 8 inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson. After surviving the treacherous journey down the infamous Alaskan-Canadian hi-way she studied Music at the University of Oregon finally leaving the US in 2004 in search of a better life (and an affordable Master’s degree). She bought a one-way ticket to Amsterdam, never looked back and has been entertaining folks in Amsterdam ever since. Come listen to Kendra’s journey from the hilariously rugged outback of Alaska to the chaos of Amsterdam’s canals.

is a dark, silly, grown-up-ish comedy show where Diederik Zuurmond, with a whole lot of jokes, some impressions and a song, tackles todays tough topics like Christ, The Cosmos and cum.

August 5th: GONG SHOW!
Not your typical comedy show. Comedians will take the stage to perform thier best 5 minutes of comedy. Don't like what they said or don't find them funny? Audience is allowed to gong them off. 3 Gongs and you're out! Winner gets a spot on our weekly showcase!

August 12th Red Pill Blue Pill : Featuring Karan (IN) and Kuriakose (IN)
A stand-up special about life choices.
Life is all about choices. Some choices you make. Some choices that are made for you. Some you live with. Some you walk away from. Look at Karan and Kuriakose. In a parallel universe, they could have been the same person. And then they made different choices. One ended up married with a kid and a mortgage. The other's in a polyamorous relationship with a dog and a much cheaper mortgage. It helps when you split your home loan five ways. Do they have regrets? Advice? Political opinions that they are not well-informed enough to give? Most definitely.
Part stand-up, part group therapy, Red Pill, Blue Pill is the perfect chance to get their inane takes on your problems as well. Let them help you make choices you might be facing in life and love. One's a licensed therapist, after all, and the other's a raving lunatic. So what will you take? Red pill? Blue pill? A paracetamol? You're about to find out.

August 26th WIP Show Greg Shapiro: Yay Democracy., American Dutchman Greg Shapiro (Comedy Central, VPRO, BNR) presents a guide to US election 2024. As the voice of the ‘Netherlands Second’ viral video, Shapiro keeps hearing the question: “don’t you want Trump to be president again?” His answer is the same thing Mark Rutte said in the White House: “Haha! No.”
It’s Shapiro’s most personal show yet.
Critics loved Shapiro’s previous show Leaving Trumpland - which he is performing again this fall.

And yes, he is known as the voice of Trump in the ‘Netherlands Second’ viral video with 50 million views. As author, Greg has written books such as How to Be Dutch: the Quiz and his latest The American Netherlander: 25 Years of Expat Tales.

After nearly a decade in comedy, local perfectionist Tim Hill is finally presenting his first hour. Expect a dense barrage of punchlines from one of the best joke writers in the scene today. Tim takes on everything from Dutch culture to fatherhood, and tour guiding to the 2019 version of Disney's Aladdin.
