Saxophonist Owen Pirch takes the featured spot at the Blue Room’s Monday Night Jam. One of the young players making his way on Kansas City’s jazz scene, Pirch brings an appetite for hard bop and the energy of a musician ready to stretch out.

After the featured set, the bandstand opens for the jam. Musicians, bring your instrument; listeners, come hear what happens when Kansas City’s players meet in the room. Veterans and emerging artists keep this Monday tradition moving together.
