Monday Night Jam Session: Houston Smith at the Blue Room

Houston Smith is a Kansas City trumpeter and bandleader whose powerful tone and deep jazz vocabulary have made him a mainstay of the local scene. He's appeared at the Blue Room as both a headliner and Monday Jam featured artist, and his performances consistently bring out some of the best musicians in the city for the open jam.

The Monday Night Jam features a 45-minute set from the evening's featured artist, followed by an open jam session. Bring your instrument or just your ears. FREE admission.
