Monday Lunch with Madeline Keyser '15

Join us for Monday Lunch with Madeline Keyser ’15, Book Arts & Historic Press Room Librarian and curator of rare books at Texas A&M University's Cushing Memorial Library & Archives. Madeline worked at Cushing Library as an undergraduate student and, after completing her Masters in Library Science and Comparative Literature at Indiana University, returned to Texas A&M in 2024 to support the program that first sparked her interest in rare books and printing history.
Hear from Madeline as she presents “Hot off the Press: Did A&M's First Print Shop Fuel the Old Main Fire?” She will discuss the establishment of Texas A&M's first on-campus print shop and the role the printing equipment may have played in the 1912 fire that destroyed the Old Main building.
