"Everything Remains Raw" investigates the deep-structure and Afro-Kinetic memory present in dance practices throughout the African Diaspora. This film dives into the genealogy of Afro-Caribbean retention present in dance practices throughout the diaspora and how it constructed and characterizes the movement practices demonstrated in America’s Afro-Latinx communities and the globalization of their aesthetic values.
