Berkeley County Library System (BCLS), will be hosting "Cooking with Chef Rebecca," a series of interactive cooking classes with the below schedule:CLASSES
*Kids in the Kitchen - Wednesday, October 16 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) at Hanahan Library
Pasta Making - Saturday, October 19 (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) at Moncks Corner Library
Pies - Saturday, November 9 (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) at Moncks Corner Library
*Kids in the Kitchen - Wednesday, November 13 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) at Sangaree Library
Pies - Tuesday, November 19 (10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.) at Cane Bay Library
*Kids in the Kitchen - Monday, December 9 (10:30 - 11:30 a.m.) at Daniel Island Library
Cinnamon Rolls - Saturday, December 14 (10 - 11:30 a.m.) at Moncks Corner Library
*Kids in the Kitchen - Wednesday, December 18 (10:30 - 11:30 a.m.) at Goose Creek Library
Registration is required for each class. Please visit berkeleylibrarysc.libcal.com/ and click on event of the participating branch.
"Cooking with Chef Rebecca" interactive classes will provide customers of all ages FREE learning opportunities to acquire basic cooking skills and interact with community members sharing common food interests.
*Kids in the Kitchen: (Ages 3+). Children and their parents will gain basic kitchen skills while making easy recipes using simple ingredients. Recipes will change by class and location!
Pasta Making: Learn to make delicious pasta dishes from scratch with a few basic ingredients.
Pies: Get ready for holiday baking by brushing up on your pastry skills! Learn pie crust techniques, delicious filling ideas, and take a pie home to bake.
Cinnamon Rolls: Learn how to make decadent cinnamon rolls. Participants will learn to make several flavors of rolls and will get to take home a pan to bake!
