Join the Fargo Park District, Audubon Great Plains, United Prairie Foundation, and NDSU for a magical evening celebrating one of nature’s most extraordinary travelers, the monarch butterfly.
At this free, family-friendly event, you’ll get the chance to catch and tag monarchs as they prepare for their incredible journey south. Event staff will guide you through the tagging process, where you’ll learn how scientists track monarch migration through Monarch Watch.
No pre-registration needed. Just show up ready to explore, learn, and experience the wonder of monarchs up close.
This event is part of the Urban Pollinator Plots (UPP) Project, working to create and restore pollinator-friendly landscapes across Fargo.
