More than thirty years ago, Marci began her career as a classroom teacher and her work in environmental education and advocacy. Currently, she is a Conservation Specialist with MonarchWatch.org as well as Director of Education and Conservation at the Tulsa Urban Wilderness Coalition. Marci is also an Ambassador with the Xerces Society. She gives programs all across the state, and the US, sharing her experience and understanding of Monarch Butterfly survival and their migration through Oklahoma.
We will have a special selection of native plants on hand from Tulsa Native Plant Nurseries. These nurseries are part of the Oklahoma Native Plant Network. Nursery owners will be on hand to answer all your questions about planting and caring for Oklahoma Native Plants.
Jack Titchener with Tulsa County Conservation District will be on hand to answer all your questions about their special Yard by Yard project and certification.
