Momo Boyd is a 26 year old singer, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist born in Detroit and
raised in both Detroit and New York. Known for her soulful voice and powerful storytelling,
Momo first gained attention as one of the singers of Infinity Song, the soft rock and soul band
she formed with her siblings. Together, they built a dedicated fan base through viral
performances and standout releases such as Haters Anthem, Slow Burn, and Sinking Boat.
Haters Anthem was written and produced by Momo.
In 2022, Momo collaborated with Jon Batiste at Carnegie Hall as part of the world premiere of
his composition, American Symphony. In 2025, Momo launched her solo debut with the release
of “American Love Song,” a genre bending single performed alongside a New York based string
quartet. The track introduced a sound that blends introspection and liberation, establishing her
as an artist with a voice and message all her own.
In 2026, Momo was featured on “Good Flirts” from Baby Keem’s 2026 album Ca$ino, which also
features Kendrick Lamar. She was hand selected by music director Dave Free for the
collaboration. Known for her velvety, melodic vocals, Momo brings a delicate contrast to the rap
driven sound of the project, adding depth and tonal balance to the album’s overall sonic
landscape.
Her sound has been compared to icons such as Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse, Adele, and
Nina Simone, yet Momo’s style fuses soul, R&B, rock, gospel, and jazz into something deeply
personal and contemporary. She draws inspiration from legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Lauryn
Hill, and Donny Hathaway, as well as modern innovators including Solange, Tyler, the Creator,
Beyonce, Geese, SZA, Lana Del Rey and her sister, Victory Boyd.
Momo began performing with her family at the age of five and has since developed into a
seasoned musician, playing both guitar and bass. Outside of music, she enjoys writing, reading,
studying human nature and exploring beauty and self care as creative expression.
At her core, Momo’s mission is to create music that helps people feel seen, understood and
never alone. She believes music has the power to heal and connect, and that her purpose is to
be an ally through sound and soul. As she puts it, “My ultimate goal in life is to die free, free of
regret, bitterness, and fear, having lived a life so full that I am proud of every part of it.”
With her honesty, range, and radiant spirit, Momo Boyd is defining what it means to be a
modern artist, bridging the warmth of classic soul with the edge of today’s sound.
