Event Overview: Mommy & Me Curl Confidence (Ages 4–11)

This is a hands-on, education-based experience designed to help mothers understand, manage, and confidently care for their daughter’s natural curls with clarity and structure. You’ll leave with practical systems—not guesswork—on how to maintain healthy, hydrated, and well-defined hair at home.

Throughout the session, we will focus on real-time learning and personalized guidance, including:

• Product layering systems and proper product usage
• Understanding your child’s porosity and curl pattern
• Identifying the right products for your daughter’s specific texture and needs
• How to properly detangle without causing breakage or stress to the hair
• Wet vs. dry hair manipulation techniques
• Low-manipulation styling methods for retention and ease
• Building a simple, repeatable hair care routine that supports growth, moisture, and length retention
• Lifestyle-based hair care adjustments based on your child’s daily routine

Each participant will receive consultative support, corrective coaching, and step-by-step guidance so you can confidently replicate results at home—not just in the salon chair.

Arrival Requirements (Important):

To maximize results and allow for accurate curl and scalp assessment, all attendees must arrive with their child’s hair:

• Fully detangled
• Recently shampooed and conditioned (clarifying shampoo + moisture/hydration shampoo recommended)
• Deep conditioned if possible
• Sectioned and secured in 4–6 twists
• Left slightly damp or wet so curl pattern and hair integrity can be properly evaluated

This preparation ensures we can immediately move into education, assessment, and hands-on guidance without delay, creating a more impactful and efficient learning experience.
