Momma's Safe Haven 7th Annual "You Go Girl" Female Transformational Confere

Washington, D.C.- Momma’s Safe Haven, a DC based non profit organization is hosting their 7th annual ‘You Go Girl” Female Transformational Conference’ event on Saturday, October 26, 2024 10am-4pm at The Thurgood Marshall Center for Service and Heritage 1816 12th Street NW Washington DC 20009

This FREE, “ReBuilding Our Community through Partnership” themed conference will feature multiple sessions on various topics including Parenting Workshop, Financial Literacy and Building Wealth Panel Discussion. Additional sessions include “Sex Education Workshop”, “Overcoming Addictions” and Performances by our youth. 

This event will include a Black Wall Street “SOUTHEAST” award ceremony and The World Premiere of “Dream Big Anyway” a short film by Beverly F. Smith and youth from The Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program.  guest speakers, panel discussions, performances by the youth and an opportunity to design vision boards, art therapy and journaling. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. 

All featured sessions, workshops, vendors, entertainment and fun activities will transform, motivate and show women and young ladies, of all ages, from across the DMV area, how to love and take better care of themselves, believe in their abilities and to believe in the power of partnership.

Momma’s Safe Haven is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based in Washington, DC; that has been serving the DC community since 2014. It was founded on the need to support the community by encouraging Self Love, Higher Education and Self Employment by being a support bridge to those in need of resources to get them to the next level in their lives through their programs and events.
