Mother’s Day can be beautiful.

For those of us whose mothers (or maternal figures) are no longer here physically, this day can bring a quiet ache — a longing, a remembrance, a mix of love and grief that doesn’t always have a place to go.

Mom MEMORIaM: Love. Legacy. Lineage. — Mother’s Day Walk 2026 is a curated, wellness-centered community experience created for children and loved ones navigating Mother’s Day in memory of their moms or other maternal figures.

Hosted by Javonia “Tee” Smith, Co-Founder of ReForum Consulting, this walk is rooted in personal experience, cultural care, and the belief that grief deserves community, not isolation.

After losing her mother in 2022, Tee began creating intentional spaces where remembrance and healing could coexist — and this walk is an extension of that vision.

What This Walk Represents:

This is more than a walk.

It is a moving tribute.

A collective remembrance.

A space to carry her name, her love, and her legacy forward — together.

Because even in her absence…

she is still present in who you are.

What to Expect:

A guided, reflective walk through Prospect Park

Opening grounding + intention setting

Memory prompts and reflection moments along the route

Community connection with others who understand this journey

A closing remembrance ritual honoring our mothers and matriarchs

Optional opportunities to share stories, photos, or names

This experience is gently guided and accessible — come at your own pace, in your own way. It creates space for grief that is often carried silently — and invites us to remember our mothers not just in loss, but in legacy, lineage, and love.

This walk is for:

• Those navigating grief on Mother’s Day
• Anyone seeking a safe, supportive, and culturally affirming space to remember
