Performing this night will be:
NEV LILIT is the moniker of Siri Jennefelt when she creates dark, intense sounds bordering between electroacoustic music and industrial noise. Her sophomore album ‘Hyperit’ was just released through Moloton, which is one of the two releases being celebrated this night. The music is a re-imagining of the material created for a performance lecture by Jonna Bornemark. LPs will be available for purchase for a discounted price.
Nev Lilit will be performing live.
❋
NIKLAS DAHLQVIST presents ‘We Built This City on Skrot och Plåt’, an interactive installation in the form of a video game. It digitally reconstructs the now demolished area of Lugnets Industriområde in Stockholm, by using archival material from photographies of area between 1996-2002. The game will be up and playable at Maxim during the entirety of the night. The physical/digital release of both the game and its soundtrack is also the target of the night’s celebration and will be available for purchase for a discounted price.
❋
SONJA TOFIK is a composer and musician that blend samples, drones, field recordings, feedback and vocals creates a dark and emotional sonic sphere. She released her debut EP 'Neuros', followed by the LP 'Anomi', both on the Moloton label in Stockholm. Tofik was a musician in residence at Ina GRM in Paris 2021, where she produced the piece 'Grief Scenario' for their multi-channel sound system. Last year, she released her second album ‘Respire’ through Northern Electronics.
Sonja Tofik will be performing live.
❋
LINUS HILLBORG will be putting up his interactive installation ‘Orphan Works’, which hasn’t be shown publicly since Norbergfestival 2019. The installation is a surreal, fragmented mental image of Stockholm, presented in the form of an audiovisual video game. It will be up and playable.
