Join us for one of our legendary fundraising quizzes! Help us raise money for future Molly events. All welcome. We'll have some fab prizes and an in-house bar. *What are we raising money for?*
We are a volunteer-run community group. The organising team all give our time for free to meet, organise and attend events because we love the MPFQ community <3
We know how important it is to advertise our events on meetup, especially for those who can't follow us on Facebook. We're recently taken over paying the sub fees for our local LGBTQ meetup group. These fees are c£200 per year.
We try to source the best venues possible for our FriYAYs, for these we often have to pay a deposit. Fundraising for the Molly coffers means the Organisers don't have to pay the deposit out of their personal finances.
As well as our regular socials we run one-off club nights for our community. For these events we will often have costs such as venue hire, DJ, security staff (if required by the venue).
We want to put on more awesome events for you! To do this we need to make sure we have a solid financial standing. We want to make sure all venues and acts we work with are paid fairly for their time and expertise.
